Back on January 5, I was having a conversation with Melissa, who had attended GYC a few days earlier and had run into a few ARME alumni. As we talked, we began reminiscing about the good old days more than 15 years ago when we were involved with ARME.
Truly, those were “days of heaven on earth.” I remember meeting a young man at Pine Springs Ranch who told me, “Going to ____ Conference was like the early rain, and coming to ARME is like the latter rain.” We witnessed the Holy Spirit transforming the lives of many who experienced both revival and reformation!
After my conversation with Melissa, I reached out to Marxianne.
Then I sent the following text message to Cindy:
“I just had a long conversation with Melissa, and we decided to pray about possibly resurrecting ARME Bible Camp. I later talked with Marxianne and told her what we’re praying about, and she said she had prayed with you in Tennessee about ARME. Is that right? What specifically were you praying about?”

Cindy replied:
“You are kidding?? We definitely did pray about how wonderful it would be for ARME Bible Camp to exist now, as we are truly at the door! And the church is more asleep than ever and in need of revival. Marxianne looked at me with certainty that God would answer this prayer. I do admit my faith was small that this would be answered—and so soon—since I know how busy our team is. But if ever there was a time for ARME, it’s NOW!”
God planted the seed in our hearts and then began to water it. From the very beginning, it was clear that this was something God was initiating. We decided to reach out to former ARME team members who had been with us from the beginning of the ministry in 2009 and who understood the DNA of ARME, because we believed God was calling us to build on that foundation and take it to the next level.
To make a long story short, we settled on the name ACTS 29 Unleashed, as our focus would be on preparing a people to receive the latter rain and participate in writing the next chapter of Acts.
The same God who moved powerfully in the book of Acts is still calling men and women today to be yielded vessels.
Is God calling you to be one of those yielded vessels?
Will you join us?
