“God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us,
That Your way may be known on earth,
Your salvation among all nations.” (Psalm 67:1-2)

Are you hungering and thirsting for more? Are you longing to see God rain down blessings upon you and your family in an extraordinary way in 2025? Would you like to experience God’s face shining upon you and your home—a powerful symbol of His favor and presence? Just as sunlight brings life and growth, God’s presence fills our lives with peace, joy, and spiritual vitality.

The psalmist reminds us that God’s blessings are not just for us to enjoy—they have a greater purpose: “That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.” God blesses us not merely so we can enjoy a good life or keep up with the Joneses, but so that we can become channels of His grace, light, and truth. Through His blessings, we are empowered to be a greater blessing to those around us, sharing the Good News and making His ways known to the ends of the earth.

Let’s make it our top priority this year to seek God’s blessings through prayer. Let’s ask Him to shine His face upon us—not for our own glory, but for His glory and the salvation of many souls.

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)

Do you really believe this promise? In case you struggle to believe it, Jesus doubles down on the promise, saying: “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” (Matthew 7:8)

“God does not say, Ask once, and you shall receive. He bids us ask. Unwearyingly persist in prayer.” (Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 145)

Think of ASK as an acronym: Ask, Seek, Knock.

If we are not receiving, it may be because we are not persistently asking—or because we “ask amiss” (James 4:3).

George Müller, a man of extraordinary prayer and faith, said:
“Tens of thousands of times my prayers have been answered. When once I am persuaded a thing is right, I go on praying for it until the end comes. I never give up! The great fault of the children of God is that they do not continue in prayer; they do not go on praying; they do not persevere. If they desire anything for God’s glory, they should pray until they get it.”

I desire to see MORE laborers hiding God’s Word in their hearts, armed with the sword of the Spirit, and standing strong—not being constantly beaten down by the enemy. Will you join me in praying for 10,000 Word Warriors this month?

The saddest epitaph anyone could have is this: “You have not because you ask not.” Let us not leave blessings unclaimed because we failed to ask in faith.
